A three-member CIS-BCCI Business Delegation led by Mr. Mahbub Islam Runu, Adviser, participated in the 25th St. Petersburg International Economic Forum (SPIEF) held on June 15-18, 2022 in St. Petersburg, Russia.

A three-member CIS-BCCI Business Delegation led by Mr. Mahbub Islam Runu, Adviser, participated in the 25th St. Petersburg International Economic Forum (SPIEF) held on June 15-18, 2022 in St. Petersburg, Russia. The other two members were Mr. H M Saif Ali Khan and Mr. Ohidul Islam, General Members of CIS-BCCI. The CIS-BCCI delegation attended the inaugural ceremony and the plenary session of the SPIEF which was inaugurated by President of Russian Federation Mr. Vladimir Putin. The delegation also paid courtesy calls on the Vice Governor of Murmansk region, the Commercial Counsellor of Embassy of Bangladesh and various business leaders who attended the economic forum. During the meetings, the delegations discussed various issues relating to bilateral trade and commerce, economic cooperation and investment, tourism and banking cooperation between Bangladesh and Russia.
